Convert Clothes For Metahumen
In this tutorial and all the other tutorials, we use UE 5.4.
There are many character or cloth models rigged to Epic UE4 or UE5 skeleton, but each of them normally is designed for a fixed body shape only.
This tutorial shows how to convert this kind of models to fit to any body shapes including the 18 Metahuman body shapes, upgrade their skeletons to UE5 skeleton, and transfer their original skin weights and ancillary bones.
This tutorial uses the Paragon: Wukong character asset as an example. This character is rigged to UE4 skeleton, designed for a male body, and has many ancillary bones. It can be freely downloaded from its website.
